If you look at all the schedules under IMCA within a couple hundred miles you will see there are races almost every weekend for Modifieds and Sport Mods. This will give anyone here the ability to run for Region or a National Championship.
You guys in Stock Cars and Compacts will have to travel to Thunder Mountain in Olathe, Fairgrounds in Cortez or Aztec. As we are the only IMCA track in Utah for your classes. I think maybe Elko is running IMCA too for you guys if you want a few extra points or are looking for Region or National Standings. I will let you know if anything here changes. Thanks
Harvey, will everyopne be racing on these nights or will you split it up again. Roger
We will most likely split it as we did last year. I am not sure if the mini sprints are wanting to run or the trucks as we hear from them we will fill in the friday nights. We are going to run late Models on may 8th july 31st and aug 21st so that should be good too.

Will DTR be having a pre-season test-n-tune or practice day? Got a new SSM and am looking forward to some seat time before the season starts.
Also TMR would welcome any of the DTR cars on your weekends off. TMR now sanctions with IMCA for Mods, SSMs and Stock Cars. Our IMCA Stock Cars might go away after 2010 if the car count doesn't increase, so any help there would be greatly appreciated. Our Hobby Stock rules have been brought more in line with IMCA rules, the only real major difference would be Hoosier g60s are allowed and weight can be added to the car. There may be other differences, but those are the only two biggies that come to mind.
See ya at the races!
We will be having at least 1 practice. As soon as the snow melts I will set a date or two.
Harvey
what rules will you be running for the late models?
Contact Steve Gray. 435-828-5092 for any information on the late models. The first race for them will be may 8th.
Harvey
Hey there. I am currently putting together a truck to run at your track. Any contacts you could pass on or info about others involved in the truck class would be appreciated. I am really interested in what night we would be running, and how many other trucks are expected to run this year. Any info will be helpfull. Thanks.
Mike
It aint about what you can buy,
It's ALL about what you build! !
What kind of truck are you building? I too am from SLC and also have a truck....
Without releasing too many details, we are resurecting a dinosaur that had been run at Suntana many years ago. But is still ready to run a few more races.

If your looking for some rules for these guys call Dick Godin at 435-820-8661 He will know the ins and outs or who to point you towards. I have left that class up to the guys that run it you may want to be involved with that process. To this point I have not talked to any of them to see what if anything has changed. I will let you know as soon as I do. I will hopefully talk to some one tomorrow. If there are not enough of them we may not run them much this year so we need to get a count on them soon. I will do my best to track them down.

The truck I have is also a top contender from suntana. All it needs is a moter and its race ready. I just need an excuse to put this truck together. Maybe we could meet up and exchange notes?
Hey Harvey, hows things going? Good I hope. Just wondering about your schedule- is it set and are all the nights sanctioned?
